Privacy Policy

Pachi is operated by Pachi and Friends LLC. This policy explains what information Pachi collects, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have.

Quick Summary

Pachi uses account, Apple Health workout, wallet, challenge, notification, analytics, and diagnostic information to run the app. We do not sell personal information. We do not use HealthKit data for advertising.

Information We Collect

Account and profile information, including email address, phone number, verification status, real name or display name, profile photo, Firebase user ID, account state, beta access status, login timestamps, and onboarding status.

Apple Health workout information, with your permission, including workout identifiers, workout type, start and end times, duration, source app, source device, Apple Watch or device association, route metadata presence, distance, energy burned, duplicate-detection metadata, and challenge counting status.

Wallet, funding, and challenge information, including in-app wallet address, Base network and USDC balance snapshots, confirmed USDC deposit records, Coinbase order/status information, challenge join records, buy-in amount, participant status, workout counts, payout or refund amounts, and settlement timestamps.

Push notification state, analytics events, crash reports, diagnostics, device identifiers, IP addresses, performance data, error logs, admin review records, support information, and local device state needed to operate the app.

How We Use Information

We use information to create and manage accounts, verify onboarding and funding readiness, operate in-app wallets, support wallet funding and balance display, verify challenge eligibility and joins, evaluate workouts, compute challenge progress and results, process payouts and refunds, support admin review, send challenge notifications, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and comply with legal and security obligations.

Health Data Commitments

Pachi uses Apple Health workout data only for challenge verification, progress display, review, settlement, safety, support, and reliability. Pachi does not sell HealthKit data, use HealthKit data for advertising, or share HealthKit data with advertisers, data brokers, or advertising platforms.

You can revoke Pachi's access to Apple Health at any time in iOS Settings. Revoking access stops future HealthKit reads, but it may not automatically delete workout records already synced to Pachi systems.

Pachi is a fitness accountability app. Pachi is not a medical, healthcare, insurance, or emergency service and does not provide medical advice.

How We Share Information

We may share information with service providers that help operate Pachi, including Firebase and Google Cloud, Privy, Coinbase, OneSignal, Mixpanel, Apple services, and crash-reporting or diagnostics providers used in production.

Coinbase handles any production identity verification, billing, Apple Pay, or KYC information required for onramp checkout. Pachi does not collect or store that identity-verification information. Pachi may receive limited Coinbase order and status information needed to show funding progress and reconcile wallet funding.

We may also disclose information to process challenge settlement, refunds, deposits, withdrawals, and blockchain transactions; to admins who need access for challenge operations, support, review, audit logging, and settlement; when required by law; to protect users or Pachi; or in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.

Other Users

Pachi is built around friend and family challenges. Other Pachi users may see profile photos. Other challenge participants may see limited challenge-related information, such as your real name, profile photo, joined status, challenge progress, and challenge result. Pachi does not show raw HealthKit workout identifiers, raw route metadata, phone numbers, or email addresses to other participants in the normal user flow.

Data Retention

Pachi keeps information indefinitely unless you request account deletion, or unless Pachi deletes it earlier because it is no longer needed. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting hello@pachi.fit.

Some records may need to be retained after an account deletion request, including challenge participation records, settlement snapshots, wallet deposit logs, admin audit logs, and records needed for financial, tax, legal, fraud-prevention, security, or dispute-resolution purposes. Public blockchain data cannot be deleted or changed by Pachi.

Your Choices

You may update profile information where supported, choose whether to add a profile photo, manage Apple Health, camera, photo library, and notification permissions in iOS Settings, opt out of push notifications through iOS Settings, request account deletion, and contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or export of personal information.

Some requests may be limited by challenge integrity, audit needs, legal obligations, fraud-prevention needs, financial records, public blockchain records, or information controlled by third-party providers.

Security

Pachi uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including Firebase authentication, server-side challenge verification, backend-controlled settlement flows, and restricted admin operations. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.
